🕵️ The Prompt Detective

AI First University

Thailand ranks among the world’s top AI adopters — but last in the region at checking AI’s work.

Microsoft’s Work Trend Index 2026 puts Thai workforce AI adoption at 85%, well above the global average of 65%, with 32% operating at Frontier Professional level — double the global figure.

Yet only 45% consider critical thinking and verifying AI’s output to be essential skills — the lowest among the six Asian markets surveyed (Philippines 65%, Indonesia 62%).

That gap is exactly what the Marketing Program, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce brought into the first-year classroom.

🕵️ The Prompt Detective
A workshop that teaches students not just to prompt AI — but to catch it out.

▪️ Students learn the RTCO prompt structure (Role · Task · Context · Output), then write real prompts against randomly assigned marketing briefs
▪️ Each student must deliberately omit one element — and classmates, in a blind test, have to detect what’s missing from the AI-generated plan
▪️ They stress-test their own work with prompts like “Kill my idea”, then score the quality of a peer’s critique

Three full rounds in a single session, run through a timed, scored web app.

The survey shows 89% of Thai employees already treat AI output as a starting point rather than a final answer. What’s missing is systematic training — and that is precisely what we built into the curriculum.

Being an AI First University isn’t about handing students the tools. It’s about producing graduates who can command them.
Because the marketers this industry needs aren’t the fastest at using AI — they’re the ones who know when AI is leading them astray.
